Job Duties
  • Collect specimens following established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams.
  • Administer oral solutions as trained.
  • Research test/client information and verify all orders using lab systems, client contact, and approved tools.
  • Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
  • Obtain identification, enter billing info, and collect payments per policies.
  • Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
  • Perform non-patient duties: inventory, supplies, sanitizing, filing, phone and email communication.
  • Follow departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Assist with data compilation and submission.
  • Maintain phlebotomy logs timely, such as maintenance and temperature logs.
  • Complete training courses promptly.
  • Travel to additional sites as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: medical assistant or paramedic training.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry skills required.
