Job summary

GTT is seeking a Phlebotomist II for first shift in Hoboken, NJ. This onsite contract role includes collecting blood samples, labeling specimens, and ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. The candidate must meet NJ credentials and prefer phlebotomy certification.

The position offers 2 months duration, M-F daytime hours, and overtime eligibility with benefits including health plans and 401k through the client. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• New Jersey state credentials/licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain safe and professional environment.
• Perform venipuncture and processing of specimens following procedures.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling accuracy post-venipuncture.
• Maintain records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients and staff.
