Job description

Position Details:

  • Location: Monroe, GA
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Pay Range: $19.85+ per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Collect specimens following established procedures.
  • Administer oral solutions as trained.
  • Verify test/client information and orders using lab systems.
  • Accurately enter data and navigate computer systems.
  • Obtain identification, enter billing info, and collect payments.
  • Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparing for transport.
  • Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, emails.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain logs and complete training promptly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, capillary collections.
  • Keyboard/data entry skills.
  • Availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record.

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

The role requires effective communication in English.
