Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II for our client’s healthcare facility in Madison, WI. Schedule: Mon, Wed-Fri 9:00 AM–4:30 PM; Tue 1:00 PM–5:00 PM. Local contract position based in Madison 53703.

Responsibilities include accurate phlebotomy across pediatric and geriatric patients, independent work, and adherence to all safety and policy guidelines. Prior phlebotomy and strong customer service skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.

• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills across pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Job Details

Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Madison WI 53703.

Schedule: MON, WED-FRIDAY 9A-430P. TUESDAYS 1P-5P

Location: Madison WI 53703

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 3 months contract to potential extension

Pay Range: $20 to $23.22/hour*

Mileage Reimbursement Rate (if applicable): $X.XX / mile

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Committed to all Policies & Procedures including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
• Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
• Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business.

Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.

Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience

1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.

Keyboard/data entry experience
