Ability to perform venipunctures and other blood collection procedures. Availability, willingness, and experience in performing special procedures (such as: assisting physicians in special procedures, special nursery procedures, or preparation of reference lab samples). Possible exposure to contagious disease. Continuous exposure to blood, patient specimens, and needles.
