Position: Phlebotomist II – Denver, CO - Monday-Friday 7:00AM-5:00PM (Rotational Saturdays)

Pay Range: $22.02 - $25.34 / hour

Responsibilities
  1. Collect specimens according to established procedures.
  2. Administer oral solutions as trained.
  3. Verify test/client information and orders using lab systems.
  4. Accurately enter data and navigate computer systems.
  5. Obtain identification and process billing and payments.
  6. Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport prep.
  7. Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, emailing.
  8. Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  9. Compile and submit statistical data as needed.
  10. Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Keyboard/data entry skills.
  • Availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; medical training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Must communicate effectively in English.
