Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a phlebotomist to perform venipuncture, collect and process specimens, and support the lab and hospital computer systems. You will verify orders, release results in LIS/EMR, and maintain supplies in a busy pediatric setting.
Shifts may start as early as 6:00 a.m. and extend to 11:00 p.m., with hourly pay ranging from $19 to $28.50 depending on experience and market conditions. Full benefits are provided for eligible staff.

Performs a variety of procedures and services including the collection and distribution of patient specimens. Works with both the laboratory and hospital information systems. Functions as a team member and actively supports the Hospital’s Continuous Quality and Customer Service goals through modeling appropriate behavior and providing a work environment conducive to attaining these goals.
Work hours may vary based on the operational needs of the laboratory. Shifts can begin as early as 6:00 a.m. and end as late as 11:00 p.m.
$19.00-$28.50 hourly. At Lurie Children’s, we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position. Ranges are regularly reviewed to stay aligned with market conditions.
