Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in San Carlos, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team. The role requires collecting specimens, verifying orders, and entering data using lab systems. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM in San Carlos, with a 3rd Saturday rotation in Mountain View, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

State phlebotomy license is required; CA does not accept NHA licenses. The pay range is $24.10 - $28.75 per hour, with potential annual performance bonus and comprehensive

Qualifications

• State phlebotomy license required (CA excludes NHA).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders and enter data in lab systems.
• Navigate computer systems and maintain accurate records.
• Collect payments when required following policies.
• Prepare specimens for transport (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitation, phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete trainings.
