The role involves collecting specimens, entering data, and ensuring accurate processing and billing information according to procedures. Required education includes a high school diploma; phlebotomy certification is preferred and one year of experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client data.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Label, centrifuge, aliquot, and prepare specimens for transport.
• Perform non-patient-facing duties (inventory, filing, phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature records.
• Complete training courses timely.
