Job Details

Location: Cleveland, OH

Schedule: Tuesday 3:00pm-8:00pm, Wednesday-Friday 12:00pm-5:00pm, Saturday 7:00am-12:00pm

Pay Range: Minimum of $18.05+ per hour

Salary offers depend on skills, training, experience, education, certifications, market, and organizational factors. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
  1. Collect specimens following established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams.
  2. Administer oral solutions as trained.
  3. Research test/client information, verify orders, and use lab systems and client contact.
  4. Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
  5. Obtain identification, enter billing info, and collect payments per policies.
  6. Process specimens: label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze, and prepare for transport.
  7. Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, emailing.
  8. Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  9. Assist with data collection and submission.
  10. Maintain phlebotomy logs timely.
  11. Complete training courses on time.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training preferred: medical assistant or paramedic.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
  • One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
