Job summary

UW Health in Rockford, IL seeks a dedicated phlebotomist for 100% FTE, Monday–Friday 7:45am–7:00pm, with every other weekend and two holidays per year. Work location is at UW Health N. Mulford Clinic, 3775 N Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL.

Compensation includes evening/night/weekend differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Benefits cover PTO, medical/dental/vision, retirement, disability, parental leave, tuition assistance, wellness, and childcare options.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a phlebotomy course and/or one year of phlebotomy experience.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• CPR certification is required

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy collections on patients with accuracy and safety.
• Label specimens and ensure proper specimen handling.
• Maintain patient comfort and privacy during procedures.
