Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist I - Float in Pennsauken, NJ for a 13-week contract with potential extension, offering valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare setting. Primary coverage area: Delran, Hainesport, Columbus, Burlington, Medford, Mount Laurel, NJ. Shift: Saturday 7:30 AM–12:30 PM.

Mileage reimbursement is offered. Duties include venipuncture and blood collection from patients of all ages, explaining procedures, updating systems, labeling and preparing specimens, and proper

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience
• Pediatric and geriatric collection experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
• Collect specimens from patients of all ages.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection process clearly to patients.
• Update and verify patient information in the systems.
• Label, centrifuge, split, freeze, and prepare specimens per test requirements.
• Package specimens for transport while maintaining integrity.
• Store specimens per required temperature and handling protocols.
