Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist I for Venice, FL, a 4‑month assignment with potential extension. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm. You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens, and maintain patient documentation in a fast‑paced setting.

The role requires high school diploma, phlebotomy skills, and the ability to work with pediatric and geriatric patients. Flexibility for weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and trust.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of collections.
• Ensure a safe, professional environment and confidentiality.
• Follow established practices and procedures for both clinical and forensic specimens.
