Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Experience with electronic medical records (Epic) preferred.
• CPR Certification through the American Heart Association and Phlebotomy Technician Certification (PBT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain blood specimens from patients according to established procedures.
• Label specimens and transport them to the laboratory for analysis.
• Maintain aseptic technique and verify patient identification during collection.
• Perform clerical and computer duties related to the laboratory operations.
• Work independently and as part of a team, adapting to varying shifts.
