Job Responsibilities
  • Collect specimens per established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams.
  • Administer oral solutions following training.
  • Research test/client information, verify orders, and utilize lab systems.
  • Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
  • Obtain identification, enter billing info, and collect payments as required.
  • Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
  • Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, emailing.
  • Follow departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Assist with data compilation and submission.
  • Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
  • Travel to additional sites as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry skills.
