Job summary

TalentBurst in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a four-month temporary assignment. Flexibility is required to cover 8-hour shifts between 6 am and 6 pm and to move between Waterbury locations.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, medical training preferred, and phlebotomy certification preferred (certification required in CA, NV and WA). Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience; data entry skills; ability to work independently and handle pediatric and geriatric

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in CA, NV, WA).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Perform phlebotomy including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Flexible and available to cover weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Job: Phlebotomist I
Duration: 4 Months
Shift: They would need to be flexible and be able to work a 8 hour shift between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm
Location: Waterbury, CT 06708
State of Credentials Licenses Required: PHLEBOTOMY CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
this will be a temp position to help cover callouts and half days.
This phlebotomist must BE ABLE TO MOVE AROUND THE WATERBURY LOCATIONS.

Job Requirements

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience

• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
