Job summary

Our Client in Vista, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to draw blood, prepare specimens for testing, and interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner.

The role requires phlebotomy licensure, about 6 months of experience, and a high school diploma. Training in medical assisting or paramedics is preferred. Strong data entry skills and customer service are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy license required.

• State credentials CPT I.

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients entering the facility and maintains a professional, compassionate demeanor.
• Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Explains procedures clearly to patients and performs phlebotomy in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Maintains records and ensures documentation is complete and accurate under supervision.
• Supports area supervisor with daily tasks, upholds confidentiality, and fosters trust with patients and staff.

Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Phlebotomist I for their Vista, CA location.

Responsibilities

• The Phlebotomist I represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• The Phlebotomist I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• The Phlebotomist I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• The Phlebotomist I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.

Requirements
