Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a 3‑month, on-site assignment in Santa Clarita, CA. The role requires accurate phlebotomy skills and the ability to work with diverse patients in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification (CA/NV/WA preferred), and 6+ months of phlebotomy experience with data entry skills. Weekend/on-call availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• Medical training (MA or paramedic) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Maintain quality in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Assist pediatric and geriatric patients as needed; handle weekends and on-call shifts.

Job description

Job: Phlebotomist I
Duration: 3 Months
Shift: 730am-430pm
Location: Santa Clarita, CA 91355
State of Credentials Licenses Required: California State Lic

Job Requirements:

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED.
• One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
