Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist I for a 6-month assignment in Fremont, CA. Shift is 7 AM–4 PM, Mon-Fri with rotating Saturdays. Location is Fremont, CA 94538. State of credentials required: CA CPT.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience; CA CPT certification preferred (CA, NV, WA). The role requires strong phlebotomy skills, reliability, and availability for weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA/NV/WA.
• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience; 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures with pediatric and geriatric patients.

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience

• Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED.
• One (1) year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
