Job description

Title: Phlebotomist I

Location: 6853 Sw 18Th St, Boca Raton FL 33433

Duration: 8 months

Shift: M-F 6:30am-3:30pm including Saturdays 7:00am-11:00am

Description:

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) interacts directly with patients, providing a professional and trustworthy environment. The role involves drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing following established procedures. The PSR I explains procedures to patients, demonstrating leadership behaviors, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy. Under supervision, performs daily activities accurately, maintains a safe environment, and ensures proper documentation. Promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Job Requirements:
  • Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Work Experience:
  • Minimum 6 months of experience.
  • Over 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience required.
Additional Details:

Candidates must list home city and commute time on their resume. Compensation is based on years of direct experience. Reliable transportation is required; public transportation is not considered reliable. Candidates must be punctual, available for scheduled shifts, and able to work the entire shift. Excessive tardiness or absenteeism may lead to termination. Verify commute time to ensure it is within 20-25 minutes to the worksite. This position is offered by a no-fee agency.
