Job summary

Mass General Brigham Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect and process blood specimens for laboratory testing. The position is onsite in Newton, MA with a 10:30am–7pm shift and rotating weekends/holidays.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered, along with HIPAA-compliant data handling and strong patient communication. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalent and phlebotomy training; no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates procedures and addresses patient concerns to ensure high patient satisfaction.
• Handles sharps and biohazardous materials per regulatory requirements to ensure safety.
• Works with computer programs and HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Performs additional test administration and specimen collection as assigned.
