Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of certified phlebotomy program is preferred.
• Phlebotomy externship or 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy procedures accurately within established turn-around times.
• Transports specimens to the laboratory promptly and ensures specimen integrity.
• Documents medical necessity and maintains HIPAA confidentiality.
