Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) in Bradenton, FL seeks a Phlebotomist to support specimen collection and processing to ensure high-quality lab results. The role requires strong customer service and computer skills, with duties including LIS operations and general clerical tasks.

Rotating weekends and a 4:00am–2:30pm schedule apply. Candidates with a phlebotomy certificate and some experience are preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy certificate program preferred.
• At least 3 months of active phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• No license is required. Phlebotomy Certification from a phlebotomy program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs LIS / computer operations and clerical functions as needed.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
• Other duties as assigned.
