Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist - Floater to join our patient services team in Neptune, NJ on a 4-month contract. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and presenting a calm, reassuring presence for patients across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, with flexible on-site hours, weekends, and overtime. Training locations may vary by assignment.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• High school diploma or equivalent — REQUIRED.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Must be able to work across multiple locations with flexible hours.
• Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations with short notice.

Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 4 months
• Pay Rate: $27.41 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 6:30 AM or 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 3:00 PM
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative III-Floater (PSR III) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR III draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR III has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. The PSR III will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center or as business needs dictate.

Required Skills

• Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
• Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent — REQUIRED
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Required Experience

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
• Overtime expected.
