Job summary

Community Care Physicians is hiring a full-time Phlebotomist Float to join our Lab team. The role requires travel to multiple draw stations across several locations and a 40-hour work week with varying day shifts.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, performing venipunctures and tests, processing samples, and communicating results to patients. A qualified candidate will have 1–2 years phlebotomy experience and CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; additional education desirable.
• 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• CPR certification highly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with patients and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Obtain specimens and provide back-up support for the office.
• Perform venipunctures, protimes, and strep tests.
• Process and prepare specimens for transport to lab.
• Communicate lab results to patients via automated voicemail system.
• Order and inventory medical supplies.
• Cancel and reschedule patients when necessary.
• Document information into patient records accurately and timely.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Stay informed on company/office policies and procedures.
• Communicate patient concerns to Site Manager.
