Job summary

Community Care Physicians is hiring a full-time Phlebotomist Float to join the Lab team. The role requires travel to multiple draw stations and includes a recruitment/retention bonus of up to $1,000. This is a 40-hour week with Monday-Friday day shifts.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen processing, and communicating results to patients. Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $23.00 per hour, with a comprehensive rewards package and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1–2 years phlebotomy experience.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Obtain specimens and provide back-up support for office.
• Perform venipunctures, protimes, and strep tests.
• Process and prepare specimens for transport to lab.
• Communicate lab results to patients via automated voicemail system.
• Order and inventory medical supplies.
• Cancel and reschedule patients when necessary.
• Document information into patient records accurately and timely.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Stay up to date with company/office policies and procedures; communicate concerns to Site Manager.
