Qualifications

Pay Range: $21.73 - $28.49 per hour

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: Phlebotomists may be eligible for a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Benefits: Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part-Time employees working less than 20 hours are eligible for the 401(k) Plan only. For more details, click here.

All job offers will be based on skills, relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, internal equity, and market data.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, hours vary between 7:00am - 6:00pm, with additional days/hours possible, including Saturday rotations. Typical schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Position includes overtime.

Work Location: 2230 S. Fraser St., Unit #1, Aurora, CO 80014

Territory coverage includes: Aurora, Broomfield, Thornton, Golden, Arvada, Evergreen, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Denver, and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Accurately and promptly enter patient data
  • Process billing info and collect payments as needed
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain logs of patient and specimen info
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform administrative duties as required
  • Travel to additional sites as needed

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
  • Previous phlebotomy experience (preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record
  • At least 21 years old
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable
  • Flexibility for overtime
  • Ability to pass a color blindness test
