Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float for Yorba Linda, CA, with coverage across surrounding Orange County sites. The role supports multiple clinics, collecting specimens, and handling data entry with care. You will travel to partner sites as needed and ensure high-quality patient interactions.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months in phlebotomy, a California CPT license, and bilingual Spanish/English abilities. The position offers a varied schedule and benefits aligned with Labcorp expectations.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team at Yorba Linda, CA to include, but not limited Placentia, Anaheim Hills, surrounding orange county area

Work Schedule: Able to cover hours that vary Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed, including some Saturdays

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 months or more of experience as phlebotomist
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience as phlebotomist
• 1 year or more phlebotomist experiences with Geriatrics and Pediatric patients
• Current or Prior experience at LabCorp

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Able to attend 2‑week training in California

Pay Range

$23.00-$33.00

Float Incentive

Additional $1.50/hr. plus mileage reimbursement

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
