Job summary

Community Care Physicians is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist Float to join Our Lab team. The position requires travel to multiple draw stations and a 40-hour work week, with a $17.50–$23.00 hourly rate and a possible recruitment/retention bonus up to $1,000.00.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen processing, and communicating results to patients. Qualifications include a high school graduate with 1–2 years phlebotomy experience; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; additional education desirable.
• Minimum 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• CPR certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to use interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians and coworkers.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Obtain specimens and provide back-up support for office.
• Perform venipunctures, pro times, and strep tests.
• Process and prepare specimens for transport to lab.
• Communicate lab results to patients via automated voicemail system.
• Order and inventory medical supplies.
• Cancel and reschedule patients when necessary.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Keep up to date and informed on company/office policies and procedures through staff meetings and correspondence.
• Communicate any patient concerns or complaints to Site Manager.

Our Lab is hiring a full-time Phlebotomist Float to join their team! This position is eligible for up to a $1,000.00 recruitment/retention bonus. This is a 40-hour work week. Monday-Friday varying day shifts, travel is required to multiple draw stations.

Locations include:

• Troy
• Clifton Park
• Delmar
• Latham
• Niskayuna
• Albany
• Schodack

• Process and prepare specimens for transport to lab.
• Communicate lab results to patients via automated voicemail system.
• Order and inventory medical supplies.
• Cancel and reschedule patients when necessary.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Keep up to date and informed on company/office policies and procedures through staff meetings and correspondence.
• Communicate any patient concerns or complaints to Site Manager.

Compensation: $17.50 - $23.00 per hour. CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
