LCA Lab. Corp. of America is looking for a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Torrance, CA, with potential service in surrounding counties. This role involves performing blood collections and maintaining patient records while providing exceptional customer service.
This is a casual/per diem position with variable hours, requiring a California state Phlebotomy license. Candidates with two or more years of phlebotomy experience are preferred. Comprehensive benefits are available for employees scheduled for 20 or more hours a week.
LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Torrance, CA, including possible service in Orange County and LA County areas.
Work Schedule: Able to cover hours that vary Monday – Friday 6:00am – 6:00pm; additional days/hours as needed, including occasional Saturdays. This is a casual/per diem position; start and end times may vary between 6:00am – 6:00pm, Monday – Friday, with rotating weekends.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent; California state‑issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
Pay Range: $21.00–$33.00 per hour.
Float Incentive: Additional $1.50 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.
Phlebotomists may be eligible to participate in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. All job offers will be based on the candidate’s skills, relevant experience, and applicable market data.
Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan.
Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.
