Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team, visiting locations in and around the San Antonio, TX area. The role emphasizes skilled venipuncture, data entry, and excellent patient service across diverse sites such as PSCs, client offices, or hospitals.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. A quarterly incentive bonus and mileage reimbursement are offered, along with comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation required.

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team visiting locations in and around the San Antonio, TX area.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, hours will vary between 7am to 7pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years experience as a mobile phlebotomist

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

We are currently seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office or Hospital. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program

* Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Float Incentive:

Additional $1.00/hourly plus mileage reimbursement

Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
