Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA in Greenville, MS, is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to join our laboratory operations team. You will provide patient-focused service, perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, and collect/prepare specimens with meticulous labeling and processing.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and quality control, with duties that support accurate test ordering and PHI confidentiality. PT hours, benefits, and a strong team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy training or experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians is a bonus.

Location and Schedule

Location: Greenville, MS. 38701Days: Monday - Friday (AS NEEDED) , Every other SaturdayHours: 8 am - 5pmPart-time: Benefit Eligible

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.


• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.


• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.


• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.


• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Previous phlebotomy training or experience


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Basic computer and data entry skills

Bonus points if you've got:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing


• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
