Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory Operations team. You will provide patient-focused service, perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, and prepare specimens for testing in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Required are a High School Diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy training or experience, with strong communication skills and basic data-entry abilities. The role offers full-time hours and competitive benefits.

This opportunity is:

Location: Cleveland, MS. 38732
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8am -5pm
Full-time: Benefit Eligible

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Bonus points if you’ve got:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
