Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work in Claremore, OK and surrounding cities. Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00AM–4:30PM, with hours varying. Travel to additional sites as needed.

Minimum: High school diploma and 1+ year phlebotomy experience. Preferred: Phlebotomy certification or 3+ years experience. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Competitive incentive and comprehensive benefits offered.

• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients; travel to additional sites as needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work Claremore, OK and surrounding cities.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM hours will vary

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 years or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
• At least 21 years' old
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Float Incentive

Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
