Job summary

Great River Health Systems is seeking a phlebotomist to join the Right Choice Internal Resource Pool. You will collect and process laboratory specimens and may assist in bone marrow collections, providing phlebotomy services at off-site facilities when needed.

Floating to three hospital locations in Iowa, you must accept a minimum of 24 hours in a 6-week cycle and participate in two seasonally hard-to-fill shifts. Evening, night, weekend, and holiday differentials apply to compensation.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED H.S. Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process laboratory specimens.
• Assist in Bone Marrow collections and off-site phlebotomy at nursing homes/labs.
• Maintain absolute accuracy in inpatient identification and specimen labeling.
