Job summary

Stillwater Medical Center Healthcare Authority is seeking a full-time phlebotomist to join our lab team in Stillwater, OK. The position supports high-volume sample processing and phlebotomy duties, including specimen labeling and clerical tasks as needed.

The role requires phlebotomy experience or a certified program, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Evening hours are scheduled 1:00pm–9:30pm, with on-call weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy experience or completion of an approved phlebotomy course.
• ASCP or NCA Phlebotomy certification recommended.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Never convicted of a criminal offense related to health care.
• Not listed by a federal agency as debarred, excluded, or otherwise ineligible for participation in federally funded health care programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine phlebotomy duties and label specimen containers accurately.
• Screen incoming calls, order supplies and reagents as requested by Lab leadership.
• Perform clerical tasks as directed by Lab Director/Manager or Supervising Technologist.
