Job description

Sweetwater Hospital Association is looking to add an experienced night shift Phlebotomist to our Laboratory. The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients accurately and efficiently while providing excellent patient care. The position requires attention to detail, proper specimen identification and handling, and adherence to laboratory and hospital policies and procedures. The Phlebotomist will interact with patients of all ages, from newborns through geriatrics, and should be able to provide a professional and reassuring experience during specimen collection. THIS POSITION IS FULL TIME NIGHT SHIFT ONLY.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in phlebotomy required

Job Knowledge and Skills:

• Must possess ability and skill to provide care and/or treatment to all patients from newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatrics.
