This Phlebotomist position is per diem with a flexible schedule. The role involves performing venipuncture and skin puncture competently and efficiently, with knowledge of test requirements, assisting in the clinical laboratory, including blood draws, blood cultures, and capillary samples.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Draw blood competently, consistently, and with minimal patient discomfort.
  • Identify patients using two unique identifiers according to hospital policy before providing services.
  • Record phlebotomy requisitions on logs.
  • Maintain a courteous, professional manner with patients, co-workers, nursing, and medical staff.
