Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Tulsa, OK. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, processing specimens, data entry, and providing excellent patient service. The position requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy experience, with potential travel to other sites.

Time shifts include rotating weekends from 2:30PM to 11:00PM. Preferred candidates may have phlebotomy certification or related training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 months or more of phlebotomy experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
