Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Current BLS or in-house BLS training within 30 days of hire is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Blood collection via phlebotomy for laboratory analysis.
• Acquisition of 12-lead EKGs for in-patients and select out-patients.
• Identify patients accurately and document collection and hand-off details.
• Maintain PPE usage and hand hygiene; follow infection control policies.
• Communicate with care team and assist with department operations.
