Job summary

The American Red Cross in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a phlebotomist to assist with donor blood collection at fixed sites. Paid training is provided and prior medical experience is not required, with preference for phlebotomy exposure.

You will ensure a welcoming donor experience while following safety procedures to deliver lifesaving blood products to hospitals. Schedule varies including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience in a public setting.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Physical requirements include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights, standing or sitting for long periods, and adapting to long hours and schedule changes.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
