Job summary

Grifols is hiring a Phlebotomist – We Train in Danville, VA to support donor care in a plasma center. The role includes comprehensive training and a focus on safety and donor comfort.

The incumbent will determine donor suitability, establish rapport, respond to donor reactions, monitor donors and equipment, and operate plasmapheresis machines while maintaining donor confidentiality. Ability to stand 6–8 hours/day and work a flexible schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.
• Superior customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
• You establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while ensuring donor confidentiality.
• You respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
• Monitors donor and equipment to ensure health of donors and quality of product.
• Sets up, disconnects, and operates the automated plasmapheresis machines.
• Disconnects and disposes of all contaminated disposable equipment.
