Job summary
LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking a compassionate phlebotomist in Pensacola, FL to join our team. You will perform blood collections, ensure donor safety, and provide excellent donor service while documenting information for records.
This full-time role offers varied shifts, PTO, health/dental/vision insurance, an HSA with employer match, a 403(b) retirement plan, life insurance, mental wellness resources, earned wage access, and bonus opportunities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
- Valid driver’s license required.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections and donor care procedures.
- Ensure donor eligibility and maintain safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the donation process.
- Accurately document donor information.
- Support donor recruitment and scheduling efforts.
- Assist with mobile blood drive operations as needed.
