Zusammenfassung

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at New Loudon Road in Latham, NY. Work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:45am to 3:15pm with rotating Saturdays.

You will perform blood collections by venipuncture at all ages, collect samples for various tests, enter data accurately, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient and specimen logs. Travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Aufgaben

• Perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
