Job summary

AdventHealth Clermont is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Technician to support laboratory operations at Clermont Health Park. Responsibilities include specimen collection, processing, and coordination with clinical staff while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have phlebotomy training or related education, strong English communication, and basic computer skills to document tests and coordinate workflows.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy training program preferred.
• Ability to read/write/speak English clearly.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform cytopreparatory staining and accessions surgical cases with knowledge of anatomy.
• Receive and set up primary specimen cultures and inoculate petri dishes.
• Clean and disinfect laboratory equipment and spaces and manage inventory.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and assess new equipment/procedures.
• Provide resolution to customer service issues and educate clinical staff.
