Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a great opportunity for an experienced Phlebotomist at Augusta, Maine (Togus VA Medical Center). The role involves inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy, lab tech and lab assistant services, including ED, STAT, and timed draws.

Shifts include Day, Evening, with limited Weekend & Holiday coverage; no night shifts. This position offers temporary coverage with a dynamic healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of recent phlebotomy experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy draws across ED, STAT, ASAP, and timed draws.
• Process samples and prepare specimens for send-out.
