Job summary

Top Echelon LLC in Ashland, KY seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract role lasting about 3 months with potential for permanent hire. Schedule is 8:00am–5:00pm Monday–Friday. You will perform blood draws, label specimens, and ensure proper handling and transport of samples.

The ideal candidate has a state phlebotomy certification, 6 months of venipuncture experience, and proficiency with MS Office; we value accuracy, attention to detail, and patient-friendly communication.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED
• minimum 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Update patient information and ensure proper specimen transport.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
