Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract assignment in Tulsa, OK, with schedule 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The position includes a 3-month projected duration with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, adherence to procedures, and maintaining quality data. A minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience and a valid Phlebotomy certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed is required in some states.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and explains venipuncture process to patients.
• Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes, labels, centrifuges, splits and freezes specimens as required.
• Check all test requisitions or computer label against script to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperatures and Lab protocol compliance.
