Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist with blood draws, labeling, centrifuging and specimen handling.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimens and ensure proper labeling and transport.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/DEP regulations and complete trainings.
