ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a contract Phlebotomist in Rock Hill, SC. Schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with a 3-month project plus potential for permanent hire. The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, and maintaining accurate records. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centri fuse specimens and maintain associated data and decontamination.
• Record maintenance data and update patient information as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate techniques.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and package specimens for transport.
• Store specimens at required temperatures and label accordingly.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer calls and read laboratory results to respond to inquiries.
